Zoning Permits
All Fees Are To Be Paid Upon Issuance Of The Required Permit

Building permits issued by the Town of Alexander are required for the following:
- Erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, improvement, removal or demolition of any building or structure.
- Installation of heating equipment, solid fuel burning appliances, chimneys, flues, and vents.
- Installation of new windows, involving a change of size, where the windows are used to meet the emergency exit requirements from habitable space.
Note: A set of stamped blue prints are required for new housing and a drawing is required for all other building permits.
For a one-family, two-family, or multiple dwelling or addition to a one-family, two-family, or multiple dwelling:

Purpose: It is the intent of the Town of Alexander, in adopting the above fee schedules, that the majority of the cost of enforcing the Uniform Code be born by the user or applicant for mandated service.
